Dear Parents and Students,

Our district is putting the health and safety of your family first. We understand that these times can be difficult, and we are here to ensure that the education of our children continues without interruption. At DeKalb Alternative School, we value our stakeholders and uphold the highest expectations for academic achievement and behavior. This is why our faculty and staff are available for you to contact daily and schedule virtual meetings using our new Keep In Touch K.I.T. system. This software tool can be used to hold parent-teacher conferences, answer pertinent questions, and provide live assistance with academic activities found on VERGE. Please do not hesitate to keep in touch.

Sincerely,
Margie M. Smith
Principal
